Eco-sustainability of coffee roasting
ROURE roasters, in addition to their robustness and long life, contribute to the protection of the environment through the use of biomass combustion
De Laat Coffee is a modern roastery where quality coffee is roasted in the traditional way, according to the slow roasting principle. A proud family business where the profession is practiced every day with enthusiasm. Because really good coffee is a profession!
Their roasting plant is located in Nieuwkuijk (Netherlands) and they fully follow the circular economy model. They roast coffee with the ROURE ERC-120 Roaster with biomass combustion (residual raw material) and not with gas. They cool their coffee with air and not with water and get the necessary energy from 320 solar panels on their own roof. This makes them unique and they proudly proclaim that they are completely CO2 neutral and are sustainable and transparent throughout the chain.
At De Laat Coffee they roast premium quality coffee with their ROURE ERC-120 Roaster made in Barcelona.
