ROURE roasters are comitted to sustainable development
This March the magazine FÓRUM DEL CAFÉ has published an article about the ROURE roasters with biomass burners, if you have not had the opportunity

ROURE ROASTERS WITH BIOMASS BURNERS. THE SUISTANABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (ODS)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of people around the world.
In 2015, all UN Member States adopted 17 Goals as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which sets out a plan to achieve the Goals in 15 years.
ROURE ROASTERS WITH HIGH ROBUSTNESS STANDARDS
At ROURE we have taken on our part of the commitment to contribute to the fulfiment of these, mainly orienting our actions towards maintaining, for example the policy of designing and manufacturing coffee roasters with high standards of robustness that allow them to last for a long time (there are ROURE coffee roasters from this company with more than 60 years of operation that continue to fulfil their task).
In line with these best practices, we offer our customers regular maintenance services and appropriate upgrade services for existing machinery in order to meet new technological and market requirements, without having to dispose of the equipment. This includes the electronic update service which, unlike mechanical elements, does suffer from obsolescence.
ROURE ROASTERS BUILT WITH MINIMUM WASTE GENERATION
We also carry out controls to ensure that our operations are carried out with minimum waste generation and that any waste generated can be managed with minimum impact.
By using innovation, we also ensure that our roasters, as energy consumers, can work with alternative energies such as biomass and hydrogen.
ROURE ROASTERS WITH BIOMASS COMBUSTION
In fact, several ROURE coffee roaster projects are already operating with biomass burners that stand out in the market for their reduced emissions, simple and versatile installation and low maintenance costs. Compared to the other usual fuels (diesel, natural gas), they benefit from security of supply, lower fuel costs (they usually use pellets or nut shells). Finally, it should be noted that there is the possibility that these biomass burners can be installed by replacing the existing oil or gas burner by making some modifications to the equipment.
